Amharic / ኣማርኛ
Amharic is the second most spoken Semitic language in the world (Arabic being the most spoken). It is the official language of Ethiopia and has about 25 million speakers worldwide.
The district Amhara is where Amharic got its name from and is also where the language is thought to origin from. Amharic is written in a script called Fidel, a version of the Ge’ez script (a syllable alphabet used by numerous languages in Ethiopia and Eritrea).
Our Amharic translators are not only native speakers of the language but are specialised in several industries in order to give you the best possible end results.
